Supported hardware

Start with your Quest controllers. When you want more realism, Augmented Defender works with the hardware below.

If you have it, it will work, or we will make it work

Every profile is fully customizable in game, so the hardware you already own feels right in Augmented Defender:

  • Position and rotation offsets, so the gun sits in your hand like the real one
  • Where the trigger breaks and how far it has to reset
  • Bind every button: trigger, magazine release, slide release, weapon light and select fire
  • Invert any button, and set each one as a press or an on/off switch
  • Reload on hit: hit the bottom of the controller to seat a magazine
  • Automatic slide release
  • Your shooting hand and dominant eye
  • Hide the controller model inside your stock
  • Pistol or rifle, with tracers if you want them

3D-printable stocks

Print our XR Pistol from the free files, with its profile built in, or use any other 3D-printable stock for Quest controllers. Every one is supported and fully configurable: set how the gun sits in your hand, where the trigger breaks and which hand shoots.

Third-party stocks

If your subscription for other products has lapsed, you can use those products with our software, and we even provide out-of-the-box profiles for some, so you're ready to go with no setup.

Customization

Using a stock we don't have a profile for? Make a profile of your own for it: set how the gun sits in your hand, where the trigger breaks and which hand shoots. Keep a profile for each stock you own and switch between them in seconds.

Made a profile for a controller we don't list? Share it with us on Discord and we'll gladly add it to the game, so the next person with that controller is ready to go with no setup.
